RULES OF ENTRY

Only titles that have been showcased in TPBP website from 1st June 2009 to 31st May 2010 will be considered for The People’s Book Prize for 2009/10.

Books must be entered by publishers, not individuals.

Self-published books are not eligible.

Registered publishers can enter one Title in each of the three categories per month.

Categories: fiction, non-fiction (topics of national interest), children’s literature. Nothing controversial, religious or political is permitted.

Publishers can submit new Titles or Titles from their back list provided sales have not exceeded 2,000 copies.

Books must be published in the U.K. No English translation written originally in another language is eligible.

The administrators’ decision on eligibility is final.
