HOW TO VOTE
It’s easy!
The People’s
Book Prize has no judges
YOU be
the judge!
YOU now have
a voice in choosing Britain’s next top
authors.
Once you have registered on line:
• Click on the category of your choice:
fiction, non-fiction, children’s
• Browse each month’s selection
• Click on the book cover for further
information about that Title
• Borrow the book from your library or buy
it by clicking the Buy This Book button
• Enjoy the reading and vote for
your favourites:
One book from fiction, one from non-fiction
and one from children's (3 in all x month)
You cannot vote for the same book twice
- it will be rejected
• i.e. you can vote for Titles released in
October until the end of November;
• For Xmas and New Year: Nov 09, Dec 09 and
Jan 2010 will appear together: you can vote
for 3 books (one in each category) x month –
but not for the same book twice
• Each month, the 3 books with the most
votes in their category go through as
finalists.
• The overall 3 winners will receive The
People’s Book Prize award at a ceremony in
London on July 2010.
• Each month 12 voters will win a book of
their choice from the next month’s
collection
• Win 2 tickets to the Gala Awards Nights:
simply vote monthly for your favourite books
