Author's Biography

Davina Elliott is well-qualified to write the book, having worked on over 80 theatre productions in jobs from dresser to PA to small time producer. She has worked for the National, the RSC, on numerous West End productions and in theatres from Aberdeen to Southsea. She currently works on Wicked.

A really enjoyable read which characters who really ring true!
A fantastic debut novel. A real page turner full of vivid characters, all of whom anyone, who works in the theatre, will recognise as horribly real! A really good read.
If you have any interest in theatre, or if you don't, this is a funny, funny book. Read it & weep with laughter.

very funny,very believable characters, glad I never considered an acting career if this is what it is like.
I am not a big reader of books, but this book was an easy read, funny and a captivating story for anyone. It took me a week to read as I couldn't put it down and for me thats fast. I was getting many strange looks from fellow commuters on the tube as i randomly let out chuckles of laughter. Definitely recommend this to all.
